Warranty Policy
This page explains warranty coverage for repairs performed by GadgetRx.
Basic Repair Warranty
90 days on eligible parts and labor (see coverage & exclusions below).
Premium Repair Warranty
1 year on eligible parts and labor (see coverage & exclusions below).
What’s Covered
- Replacement parts installed by GadgetRx
- Labor related to the original repair
- Part defects or early failure under normal use
- Repair issues caused by installation-related problems
Coverage applies to the repaired component(s) and the original issue only.
What’s Not Covered
- Physical damage (drops, cracks, impact)
- Liquid/moisture exposure or corrosion
- Power surge or electrical damage
- Unauthorized repair attempts or tampering
- Software issues, malware, or account-related problems
- Cosmetic wear and tear
- Pre-existing issues unrelated to the repair
Water resistance note: Water resistance is not guaranteed after any repair.
Device-Specific Notes
Phones & Tablets
- Screen warranty covers display/touch functionality only
- New cracks, impact pressure marks, or liquid damage void warranty
Computers & Laptops
- Warranty applies to the repaired part/issue only
- Data integrity can’t be guaranteed—backups are recommended
Game Consoles
- Warranty applies to the repaired issue only
- Overheating from dust buildup/misuse is not covered
How to File a Warranty Claim
- Bring the device back to our shop during business hours
- Provide your receipt or invoice
- We’ll inspect the device to confirm eligibility
- If approved, we’ll repair the original issue at no cost
Claims must be submitted within the warranty period: 90 days (Basic) or 1 year (Premium).
Customer-Supplied / Refurbished Parts
- Customer-supplied parts: not covered by our parts warranty.
- Refurbished/used parts: warranty varies and will be listed on your invoice.
Limitations
- Non-transferable (applies only to the original customer)
- Limited to the original repair and repaired component(s)
- Maximum liability limited to the amount paid for the repair
